Vierländer Trachtengruppe
The Vierländer Trachtengruppe was founded in December 1949 to preserve and maintain old Vierländer and North German folk dances. Even today, old dance descriptions are still used and practiced again.

The Vierländer Trachtengruppe consists of dancers, musicians and our soloist. The Trachtengruppe arranges programs for various events of different durations. The repertoire includes many different dances, especially from the Vierlande region and northern Germany. At our events we dance to live music (accordion).
Traditional Clothing…
Our group does not dance in “fantasy costumes”, for the most part we dance in historical costumes that are around 150 to 190 years old. Individual parts of these beautiful historical clothes have been carefully restored or renewed.

The program of the Vierländer Trachtengruppe are performed at events of national and international groups, at club festivals, private anniversaries such as birthdays or weddings and other events.
We are also happy to receive invitations to company events, city festivals, congresses or events in the name of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
